Our lives should not end with :whoever has the most money and toys wins” but that we would be those who served Christ well while on earth. That money or things were used to worship Jesus….given to the kingdom for His glory….and his purpose on our hearts!

Put to Death What is Earthly in You

Right Believing with Right Behaving Begins with Repentance
We are to seek the lover of our souls. It is living with a gusto for life He was so merciful to give. And it was His same mercy that sent the Son of His love. People do not go to hell because they refuse Jesus. People go to hell because they refuse a merciful/holy God. We are to exalt Him: give Honor to Who He is.

Sound Doctrine
Jesus spoke about loving God and loving our neighbor: the two great commandments found in Matthew 22:36-40 2. Love is never sentimental feelings; Love is comprehensively and righteously meeting a brother of sister in their need. Faithful obedience and love, then, are not alternatives to sound doctrine. They are the fruit of right doctrine as it works itself out in the believer's character and relationships.

Faith, Love, Ultimatums
Comforts are given to Christians enduring hardship, promising them a coming rest, while their persecutors will face certain judgment. Should the church be destined to pass through the Great Tribulation, Paul would have warned us, but he did not. He held the promise of a coming rest. 2 Thessalonians 1:7 to give you who are troubled rest with us when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with His mighty angels.

Quality Faith
Brethren beloved by the Lord, ought and are obligated [as those who are in debt] to give thanks always to God for you, because God chose you from the beginning as His first fruits (first converts) for salvation through the sanctifying work of the [Holy] Spirit and [your] belief in (adherence to, trust in, & reliance on) the truth. 14 It was to this end that he called you through our Gospel, so that you may obtain and share in the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah).

The Arrival of Truth
Proclaiming God our Savior, Jesus Christ, Who alone is wise, be glory…and Majesty to Him, who has dominion and power both now and forever….God the Lord has given us authority and it is by the Holy Spirit that we stand against heretics.
