The truth is out there...we're going beyond with Alien April. First up is 2008's CLOVERFIELD (dir. Matt Reeves). We talk about whether or not aliens are real, best tactics to evade a monster from outerspace, and found footage nausea.

March Madness is coming to an end, but the terror continues. We had a first-time watch with 1990's JACOB'S LADDER (dir. Adrian Lyne). We talk about the US Army, New York in the 1970s, and an alternative to traditional warfare.

This week we delved into David Lynch's first feature from 1977, the surrealist horror movie ERASERHEAD. And we were confused but delighted! We talked about weird chicken babies, the fear of parenting, and carnies!

It's time for Mindbending March where we'll cover experimental and psychological horror all month! We're starting off with 1981's POSSESSION (dir. Andrzej Żuławski) and it was a doozy. We talk about the Cold War, hammy acting, and whether or not this is an allegory for divorce or...just a divorce. You'll be confused. 

Happy Valentine's Day! We watched the canuxploitation classic (?) from 1981, MY BLOODY VALENTINE (dir. George Mihalka). We talk about unions, unclear age groups, and Canadian accents, eh! 

We're closing out New Year, New-ish Releases with the hit 2023 movie M3GAN (dir. Gerard Johnstone, special shoutout to screenwriter, Akela Cooper!) We talk about AI, shifty wigs, and homeschooled kids.
