The Trump Organization was sued in New York court for supposedly defrauding the State of New York by entering into a mutually beneficial loan arrangement with one or more banks in New York. New York State was not party to any of the contracts, but somehow suffered damages of more than $350 million dollars according to the ruling from the court. This is a case based on politics, plain and simple. The contract(s) with the bank(s) were fulfilled but somehow New York State is claiming damages. There's no justice in New York!
