How To Successfully Launch & Lead A CTE Statewide Consortium-Global Career Tech Education Podcast Ep.3 w/Fawn Wilde

Tune in to an exciting episode of the Global CTE Podcast. Sylvester has an engaging conversation with South Dakota's Western Statewide CTE Consortium Director, Fawn Wilde.

In this episode, Fawn Hall and Sylvester Chisom discuss:

-Fawn shares the key lessons she learned from launching and leading this program in South Dakota.

-How to build innovative programming between schools and statewide Perkins Directors

-Best practices in communicating new ideas in education

-How to use gratitude to connect with leaders and teams

Fawn Wilde Bio:

Fawn is the Director of South Dakota's Western Statewide CTE Consortium.

Her personal mission is to positively impact the lives of others - personally and professionally.

After working in the banking industry for several years, Fawn decided it was time to get back to what she was most passionate about - helping people succeed. This decision led her to graduate from Black Hills State University with a B.S. in Psychology, and present an exciting research project during her senior year, "The Psychological and Physiological Effects of Gratitude". Since then she has had the privilege of working with families in need, students navigating their way through higher education while meeting their personal needs, and school districts determined to ensure their students receive the best opportunities available for them to have stable and sustainable careers and/or a college education.

Fawn is motivated by change, challenges, and positive people. While she is quite the independent person, she is also a believer that together we achieve more than we do on our own, which makes working within a team such a privilege.
