Often, we tend to hold our dreams tightly, driven by fear of them shattering or disappearing. Like Gollum clutching the precious ring, we become overly protective, distrusting others and even ourselves. Every setback, ill-wanted situation, or failure seems to validate our fears, casting doubt on the possibility of our dreams. But it's crucial to recognize that these fears and protective tendencies create a distorted lens through which we view our dreams and their relationship to our lives. Dreams are open, curious, exciting, and invite us to explore endless possibilities.


Dreams don't need to be forcefully pushed forward; they naturally grow and expand as we do. They align with our desires and evolve alongside our journey. On the other hand, goals serve as the active steps we take to work towards our dreams. They provide structure and serve as milestones, both big and small, breaking down the path to our dreams into manageable steps. Goals allow us to align our actions with our aspirations, helping us become the person we want to be and achieve what we desire along the way.


While each individual goal may seem insignificant in the grand scheme of life, collectively they shape our journey and propel us forward. Goals keep us accountable to ourselves, honoring our true desires and nurturing our personal growth. Through setting and pursuing goals, we tune in to our capabilities, explore our potential, and embrace the transformative power of self-accountability.
