The First Omen Movie Review - Back In the Habit! The Omen returns with a prequel. I just saw this movie 2 weeks ago when it was called Immaculate. I liked it better then but this movie isn't too shabby either. The First Omen has a very familiar premise and a few shocking moments. Overall though, unless you are a big Omen fan, this movie isn't going to do much to impress. Wait for it to hit streaming.

Monkey Man Movie Review - Dev Patel directs and stars in a new action flick called Monkey Man. This film has some heavy John Wick influence while carving out its own unique style in the action genre. That style might not work for everyone though. I give the pros and cons of Monkey Man and let you know what you can expect!

The Matrix 5 is happening without the Wachowski's involvement. Warner Bros. seems to think they can continue driving this franchise into the ground and still make money. The Matrix 4 was easily one of the worst movie sequels I have ever seen. Everything about it was just terrible so my excitement for a 5th Matrix film is at an all-time low. That doesn't mean there isn't a very small part of me that's hopeful they can make a good Matrix movie again. Warner Bros. just hasn't proven it cares enough to.

Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire Movie Review - If you are looking for an all-out, action-packed flick featuring a giant ape and a giant lizard; GxK is the film for you! Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire is about as dumb as a movie can get. It's basically a 2 hour Saturday morning cartoon with non-stop action and spectacle. I had a good time with this mess of a movie!

Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey 2 Movie Review - Pooh is back with a new look, new story, new characters but the same crappy tone. This movie will undoubtably have a cult-audience but these Winnie-the-Pooh movies just don't have the right feel to them. The lack of comedy and self-referential humor is puzzling. Why are they taking this crap so seriously? I give you a full breakdown of Blood and Honey 2 in my review.

Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey did so well, that the studio is making a series of monster-verse style films such as Peter Pan, Bambi and Mad Hatter. These will be part of the Poohniverse, coming in 2025. I hate this!

Road House Movie Review - Another remake just hit Amazon Prime in 2024. This time it's the action classic, Road House.

Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire Movie Review - The Ghostbusters are back... kinda. The old dogs grab the proton packs for yet another last ride while the kids take center stage. Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire is all over the place with characters, storylines and nostalgia overload. At points, the film nails down the tone and at others, it again gets lost in the weeds. I just don't care about these Ghosbusters movies anymore but perhaps you still will. I give my thoughts.

The Strong Female Lead messaging out of Hollywood lately has been insulting and not a very bankable premise. I go over how the movie industry has tried to transform female action stars and superheroes into these perfect, boring characters instead of just focusing on making good stories.

Actress Miriam Margolyes (Professor Sprout) recently said in a few interview that the Harry Potter movies are for children and that adults need to grow up. I fully disagree with that sentiment. If adult movie fans aren't allowed to enjoy the things they grew up with or find joy in new film aimed at broader demographic, then what are we even doing here? Movies can transport people into a different world, free of the burdens and often pain associated with our real lives. Telling people to merely grow up is silly and pretty insulting. I give my full thoughts in this video!

There are a lot of movie critics in 2024. There are a lot of critics, in general. I think it's good to have a voice and an approach that makes you unique. Of course, that approach might not work for everyone. I, above all else, will review a movie from a place of honesty and passion. I might not always get it right in the eyes of the masses but my goals are always the same. To entertain and share my opinions on film.

Blumhouse Imaginary Movie Review - It's about a bear that's not scary and does nothing. What a ride... Blumhouse is incredibly hit and miss with Imaginary easily falling in the miss, category. I really had nothing nice to say about this one. Save your money. I imagined something better.

Kung Fu Panda 4 Movie Review - Po is back in action, taking on Chameleon. A shape-shifting villain that poses pretty much zero threat. In fact, I felt pretty much nothing during the duration of Kung Fu Panda 4. It's just there. The characters are unremarkable, Po's friends are missing and the overall story is just not interesting. Kung Fu Panda 4 is easily the worst of the franchise.

The Matrix Resurrections (The Matrix 4) is, in my opinion, the worst movie sequel ever created. Not the worst movie but easily the most insulting sequel to ever hit screens. The original trilogy is iconic for a reason. It shaped action films for a generation. It gave us amazing characters. It had extremely memorable action with top-notch choreography. This new movie removes all of that and instead focuses on a stupid story with meta commentary as the primary driver. There have been a lot of theories as to why this movie turned out the way it did but none of them honestly matter. At the end of the day, The Matrix Resurrections is terrible. It lacks the appeal and craft of the original. I hate this movie from top to bottom and for the next 40 minutes, I tell you exactly why!

I chat about the differences between movie fans and movie consumers and why the latter shouldn't act like they know what they are talking about! Movie critics are often fans as well, with deep knowledge about the medium and a deeper love for the movies!

This Is Me... Now Movie Review - Jennifer Lopez is back on the big screen with a new Amazon Prime exclusive movie. I guess she's not really on the big screen and I'm not sure this is really classified as a movie. It's more or less torture on all the senses. A film that doubles as marketing for her new album. This Is Me... Now is a self-indulgent, musical journey into the mind of J-Lo. Often hitting CATS levels of cringe. It's all around miserable.

Dune: Part 2 Movie Review - The second installment in the Dune saga is finally here! I was really impressed with Dune: Part 1 so my expectations were very high for this second installment. I was left even more impressed the second time around. Here are my thoughts on Dune: Part 2!

Avatar: The Last Airbender season 1 is now streaming on Netflix. The live-action reboot of the beloved series seems almost destined to fail but I gave it a shot and was honestly surprised by the final product! Here are my first impressions on the first 2 episodes of the new series.

Alright, it's time to address the constant string of bad ideas and terrible movies coming out of Hollywood the last few years. It seems to me that they are trying to cater to a fanbase that doesn't feel like supporting their crap. Meanwhile, movie fans have to pay the price. We are sick of it!

Ordinary Angels Movie Review- Everyone is super excited for Dune 2 and some critics got to see it early. Well I got to see Ordinary Angels early... so not really the same thing. Netflix Lift Movie Review - Kevin Hart stars in Lift, a new Netflix exclusive, that is currently trending on the platform. I'm not really sure why. Are people that desperate for a heist film? Perhaps it's just something to put on in the background. I kind of agree with that second idea. Lift is a very generic heist film with a group of characters that are about as stock as you can get. I list of far better heist movies to check out instead of wasting your time with this.

Madame Web Movie Review! It's Morbin' Time again. Sony is back with another craptastic film in their stupid Spider-Man Universe that doesn't have Spider-Man. Madam Web is the 4th film in the SSU and somehow the worst. There is basically nothing redeemable here unless you count laughing at a movie as a plus. The acting is crap, the script is worse, the effects are comical. I roast this for a good 10+ minutes but leave room in the tank for a spoiler video down the road. Subscribe for that and more!

Argylle 2024 Movie Review - Argylle is a brand new spy comedy from Matthew Vaughn. This movie features a lot of great actors and some pretty clever writing. It's also a pretty long film that might not appeal to regular moviegoers. Fans of Vaughn might also not enjoy his less serious style. I was very mixed but overall liked it more than not. Definitely not one you need to rush out and see but if you are a fan of his stuff, this shouldn't disappoint.

A couple of days ago, I attended my first MEGACON in Orlando, Florida. I went on several panels with some of the coolest guys in the movie critic space. Sean Chandler and Cody Leach were 2 guys I've gotten to know over the last year but seeing them in person was a far richer experience. We did several movie panels over the weekend and met some awesome fans of our channels. I met a lot of great new people too. The whole MEGACON experience was amazing and one I will remember forever.

Some movies properties just don't know when to quit. Actually, it's the movie studios that don't care. It always comes down to money. The 5 films on my list today are all about it. Terminator, Jurassic World, Fast & Furious, Transformers and Resident Evil; are some of the dumbest movie franchises still going today!

What actors get you out to the movies still? Do any actors actually get you excited to see a new film? I have a handful of favorites myself but even I must admit, the number has gone down a lot.

The Academy Awards AKA The Oscars just announced the nominations for 2024. Oppenheimer is set to clean up this year and Barbie is up for a shocking 8 nominations. Not every film or actor got a deserved nomination. Today I pick out 10 of the biggest surprises and even bigger disappointments from the picks.

I just got back from a 4 day trip to Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure. The two parks are not that big but January is supposedly the time to go, as the crowds are lighter. While that may have been the case for most the park, the Wizarding World of Harry Potter felt busier than the previous year. Broken rides, expensive food and all the Butterbeer you can handle, await you at Universal Studios. My family and I had mixed thoughts on the experience, with almost all the magic gone now.

Disney World is a magical place... or it used to be like 20 years ago. Now it's an overpriced nightmare full of crying babies and monster strollers. The lines are long, the rides are old and the babies never stop crying. Something has to be done!

Here are my top 10 favorite movies of 2023. I previously covered these on a live stream but made a critical mistake! This has been corrected. 2023 was a bit rough for big films but there were still enough great ones to justify a top 10 list. The Iron Claw, Oppenheimer and Killers of the Flower Moon were smart, well-crafted movies while Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem and Across the Spider-Verse provided some great, family entertainment. 2024 is going to be a huge year for movies. Mainly, sequels. Joker 2, Deadpool 3, Inside Out 2, Despicable Me 4, Dune 2 and many many more are set to go this year. I'm going to be covering all these movies and giving predictions!

Here are the top 10 worst movies I watched in 2023! Rebel Moon, Ant-Man 3, Winnie the Pooh: Blood & Honey and a few more made the worst list. Plus, I give off a few honorable mentions.

Saltburn movie review. Saltburn is currently free to stream on Amazon Prime so I checked it out. I was impressed with the mystery surrounding the characters and the Saltburn estate. The film has some pretty shocking moments that ultimately didn't do much for me but as a whole, this was a gripping film with good performances and an interesting set of characters. Definitely worth a watch, if you can stomach some crude behavior.

The DCEU is officially dead now. After several lame-duck superhero films like Shazam 2,, Blue Beetle and Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom; the DCEU is finally done. James Gunn will reboot with Superman: Legacy in 2025. Until then, Tony and I will reflect on the last decade of ups and downs in this cinematic universe.

Rebel Moon - Part 1 - A Child Of Fire Movie Review. Zack Snyder is back with a brand new epic saga. The first part is now streaming on Netflix and boy is it terrible. I can't really get passed any of the decisions made with this film. The director has already preemptively stated there is a much better version to be seen. The film is split into 2 parts, ending on a really awful cliffhanger. The scale is somehow large and tiny at the same time. Nothing has weight. There are no stakes. It's just there. It's all just there. I hated this.

Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom Movie Review! Aquaman 2 marks the final film in the DCEU. A franchise that has had many ups and downs over the years. Aquaman 2 seems like an appropriate fizzle out to the random WB decisions made in the 10 year run. Jason Mamoa seems comfortable in the role as Aquaman but he also appears a bit out of sorts, all the same. The same can be said about the movie.

Jonathan Majors has been found guilty and will be sentenced to a year of jail time. This is going to affect the MCU and his role as Kang the Conqueror, for sure. On the DCEU side of things, Jason Mamoa recently said that he's most-likely not returning as Aquaman in the new James Gunn DCU movies. I'll be covering these news items and more movie news live tonight!

I will be talking about some movies that aren't necessarily bad but definitely were letdowns. The Boys in the Boat Movie Review - George Clooney directs the powerful story of a team of underdogs, rowing for a chance at glory. This film was felt like the perfect throwback to 90s inspirational movies. I had a blast with this movie and hopefully people will get to theaters to watch it!

Wonka movie review - Willy Wonka is back with a 3rd movie. Once again, starting over with a new actor and storyline. Timothy Chalamet tries on the hat and cane for this new reboot. I was expecting Wonka to be a complete dumpster fire but walked away pleasantly surprised with the final product. A solid family flick with promise of more to come.

The 2023 Golden Globe nominees have been announced. I'm going to go over all of them and give you my thoughts + Golden Globe winner predictions!

Netflix has another bad movie exclusive called "Leave The World Behind". Once again I wasted my life away watching this pointless film. It's a basic, tedious movie with unlikable characters and 1/2 a story.

The podcast has been a fun experiment for me and has definitely helped me rethink my content moving forward in 2024. However, the live streams have made the podcast seem less unique so I'm wondering how to fix that? Let me know what would like to see for the new year!

Please Don't Destroy: The Treasure of Foggy Mountain Movie Review. I watched a new comedy on Peacock with my wife last night or at least, I attempted to. The Peacock app is so garbage bad, that we could barely get through 1/2 the movie. Please Don't Destroy: The Treasure of Foggy Mountain seemed like a fun new comedy.
