In today's episode, we have a very special guest. Meet Una Rawls! She is the Founder of a premium hair company; HairGarten. HairGarten is a company dedicated to reconnecting black and brown women with the roots of natural hair care. Una has made it her mission to not only educate women on their natural hair but has also formulated and created a natural hair care line to support them along their hair care journey. Una makes all of the products in house and when she isn't busy whipping up new hair care recipes, she is tending to her children and husband while also taking the time out for some mandatory self care.

In this episode, Franny talks about how she got into the reseller business. She also talks about her mentor; James Johnson aka JJ, who taught her how to excel at this side hustle. JJ is a Reselling Expert who taught Franny all that she knows while still crushing his business making multiple six figures. 

One would think that it would be harder to spend $314 Million than to actually acquire it but not true in this case. In this episode, we discuss how this could have happened and what are somethings you can do to prevent this from happening to you whether you have $300 mil or $20,000

How is this America? No access to clean water? If you don't know, Jackson, Mississippi has been without clean water since July 29!!! That is almost 2 months without clean water. How is this even possible in the land of the free? Our President has been sending billions of dollars by the boatload to other countries to "save" them but here we are in your hometown without saving. It is also very baffling that these water issues usually happen in Black and Latino neighborhoods. We are always the people affected. 

Now that you know, what are some solutions that we need in place besides shipping over bottled water? What are some preventative solutions? Are there any?

In this episode, Franny talks about the unfortunate situation that WNBA Star; Brittney Griner is facing now. She was arrested in Russia for having a vape pen at the airport which she did not know that it was illegal. This week, Brittney was sentenced to 9 YEARS in a Russian prison. Even though Five Minutes is not enough to unpack this tragedy, Franny touches on it in this episode.

Black Love is such a beautiful thing and it needs to be protected. Its representation needs to be protected. We are in a era where imagery is our everyday lives. Social media has forced so many different images into our minds on a daily basis. Every second over 1,100 photos are being uploaded on Instagram and out of that, how many do you think are positive images? Then of those positive images, how many do you think are of black love? 

Believe it or not, our ancestors used to be in love. Even during slavery, black families were tight knit and loved each other. They literally died on fields for each other and defending each other. Our love is strong and special but we don't see much of it. The images we see now would have you to believe that black love does not exist and that black people can't even get along. We need to see more positive representation of our love. 

This podcast episodes, Franny talks about a video of a black married couple that was posted on the @BlackRichClub Instagram page that sort of went "viral" and why it got so much attention.

In this episode, Franny discusses Will Smith's latest apology for the slap heard and seen all over the world. Will took to his social media page to answers some questions and to apologize for his actions. His apology has not been well received and Franny is questioning are black men every forgiven for their mistakes. Can a black man apologize and actually be forgiven without being chastised for it for the rest of his life?

In this episode we discuss how we as black people love to give the advice to "pray on it" without giving actionable advice. We need action behind that prayer too. In this episode we discuss what a side hustle is and we also give you some  interesting side hustles that you may want to try which are making folks a lot of money. She's not only up for the challenge but by the looks of her success with her growing company; The Honey Pot Co., we can clearly see that she is overcoming these challenges while coming out on top. The Honey Pot Co. is the first natural feminine care system that prides itself on protecting, cleansing and balancing your vagina. With being the first of it's kind and providing women with such an amazing product, the demand was. 

In this interview, we dive deep into Beatrice's accomplishments and goals. Her mission for The Honey Pot was always clear but landing a partnership with major retailer; Target, made it all the more clearer. The exposure created more of a demand and catapulted The Honey Pot into a multi-million dollar business. Beatrice talks about her her lack of preparation when it came to sealing the deal with target, her goals for her business and because she care so much, she gave some very helpful tips on how women can keep their vaginas in good standing.
