Extraordinary Girls of Kenya - Educated & Empowered | Don & Pat Hoover

Don and Pat Hoover join Kristi to share about an amazing educational opportunity for girls (and now boys) in Kenya.

These precious girls were put in an impossible position of childhood pregnancy through victimization during the Covid-19 pandemic at no fault of their own. Because of their pregnancies, they had to leave school and faced a hopeless future to either be married as children or work in the physical labor workforce.

Their future has since been forever changed with a miraculous, unique opportunity to attend a new, alternative school that the Kenyan government has fully supported and expanded giving them the education to support themselves and compete in the world marketplace.

Follow this incredible journey of these brave girls and learn about how their community has come along to support them.

Also, learn about volunteer and educational opportunities with one of the most beloved mission hospitals in Kenya, Africa, and beyond which is deeply involved in helping communities thrive and grow in sustainable ways.
