Brandy, Straight Up No Chaser

Everyone always want to start a new year life change, manifesting and putting together a vision board and writing new affirmations. By March, many have given up and don't understand why it's not working out for them. Here's my thoughts on why. And my special guest, my sister Star explain why she doesn't really don't do resolutions anymore.

This is a teaser of my upcoming topic on Brandy, Straight Up No Chaser. I have some single associates and friends that always reach out to talk about the type of partner they're looking for so I thought I should do a podcast about this. Like most, when I was a pre teen I use to sit around with my sisters and fantasy about my dream guy. Both as a grown woman I can't understand how women and men in their late 30's, 40's and 50's still are talking about their pre teen dream partner. Just like I ask my friends when they call, why should a millionaire or billionaire come home to you? It's nice to manifest things in your life but if you're not equal to what you have on your list then how can you set high expectations on what your partner must have to date you. Instead of saying a person have to buy you an Hermes handbag or a person must have a perfect body from getting cosmetic surgery. Ask yourself, do you have that amount for that bag in your bank account? Do you have that amount for that person's surgery in your bank account? If the answer is no, then you can't have that high expectations. So look in the mirror at yourself and ask why should someone give you luxe items if you can't give it to yourself.

Everyone is concern for Chris Rock and what this did to the Oscar’s on Sunday night. Let me get this out the way, violence shouldn’t be on TV but we see it in TV shows, on movies and its happening in real life. 😂😂😂 I’m not here for Will & Chris. I’m here to check on one person in that’s the real victim. How is Jada handling everything?! So many of our peers struggle with depression and other mental issues. After Sunday night I’m wondering the same about Jada. Because she has an auto immune disease she can’t be stressing because it can lead to a flare up. I know about that very well. So while everyone is laughing and talking BS, I hope they can find it in their heart to stop talking negative about her and pray that she’s healing.❤️‍🩹 Strong people hurt too let’s remember that 💜🙏🏾

We're happy that everyone is going on vacation & holiday. But some travelers etiquette need some work. Because we're here in Hawaii. we are seeing a lot of entitled behavior that is not cool and not respectful. On the news and social media you're seeing the airport fights, visitors on the road stopping traffic, driving wild causing accidents, tearing up the beaches, trespassing on private property so they can get content for Tik Tok, running out on restaurants taps and so much more. So we decided we should talk about. 

Please don't be shy, share with us your opinions. Even if we don't agree and you think you should be able to behave badly while on vacation. We want to hear from you.
