Welcome to the FACS of Life  As a Family and Consumer Sciences Agent for the University of Georgia most of my work focuses on the prevention and management of chronic diseases through nutrition education and programming, but also education and programming on a wide range of other topics known to be associated with chronic health conditions. Many people don't understand how their health connects to finances, relationships, their environment, food, nutrition, and personal development.  This video podcast will cover a wide range of topics under the umbrella of family and consumer sciences.   The goal is to bring current research to you; with ideas and information on how you can apply it to your own life to improve your health, well-being, and community.   This podcast aims to address the whole person and their health in fun, interesting, non-biased ways with research-based answers and solutions!  Join me as we talk about the FACS of Life!
