Carla Jones has been with the City of Los Angeles for 38 years. She became active with the union in 2016 and has put a lot of time and effort into making the City a better place to work. Learn more about Carla on episode 17 of We The Union.

Cher Mason is one of the fiercest union members and activists there is. She has been a member of AFSCME Local 575 for 20+ years and has helped her Local achieve massive wins throughout that time. Now, Cher is retiring from her job at LA County Superior Courts but will continue being a union leader and activist. Sean Rivas is an advocate. He has dedicated his time to helping those in his community that need it the most. Whether it is the unhoused individuals that he interacts with at the LA City Recreation & Park center he works at or the kids he sees while working for LAUSD, Sean tries to make a difference in the lives of the people he interacts with.
