Parting with the Ideal in "Survival Mode"
There are often phases through these early childhood years that, although wonderful, can also be defined as surviving. These periods of survival are not phases of achieving all of your lofty goals... they are phases of slowing and growing. In today's episode we talk about our priorities and how we measure our successes when we are in these seasons of survival.

This episode is a recap of our favorite thoughts and takeaways from Hunt, Gather, Parent by Michaeleen Doucleff. We both loved this book so much!! In the episode we chat about some of Michaeleen's tactics to motivate your children to help around the house, taking the pressure off of narrating everything you do with your child, and how being a calm parent is our ultimate goal.
Giving Ourselves Permission to Get Outside Help as a Mom!!
Let this stand as our personal pep talk in an effort to give ourselves permission to get outside help! Why are moms always the first to sacrifice their time and needs? After years (and 3 kids later) of telling myself "I can do it all if I just work harder!" I'm coming to the realization that getting outside help is for the benefit of my entire family and is worth every penny to increase the quality of our time spent together. Summer hit hard this year and suddenly having no schedule for myself or my kids quickly turned into me trying to keep my head above water- this episode is my current solution!

This episode is a hot topic with one of our favorite friendship experts! Madison is the face behind the @flourishingfriend instagram account and offers individual friendship coaching as well as freely gives advice and tips for common friendship conundrums on her page. For the format of the episode we entirely used listener questions! We talk about vulnerability, friendship trios, choosing to step back from a friendship in an intentional way, and Madison briefly mentions her thoughts on "best friends".

Trip Recaps and Traveling Dynamics with Young Kids

Bedtime Routine, Anyone?
We are talking all about bedtime routines in today's episode. Bedtime has the potential to evoke some strong emotions (both positive and negative) so we dive into how we have recently (and continually) revamped our routines to make it a more enjoyable part of our day. We share our respective routines and some tips we've been given-all regarding Mr. Sandman.
A Pregnancy and Postpartum Update
A little pregnancy update from Paris and postpartum update from Britt! We are chatting about baby names, a reality check about our checklists, nursing, naming babies, and mental health. Tell Me How Much You Love... Motherhood
Happy Mother's Day! Parenting can receive a lot of heat (often understandably so) but we are BIG believers in leaning into all the things we love about it. Because at the end of the day, we loooove motherhood. So, this Mothers Day we asked you to tell us all of the things that you love about it so we can share with our community and spread the feel-good emotions. We hope you spend a little extra time today, this weekend, and whenever you need it, listing all of the things you love about being "Mom" to the little people who matter most.
A Little High Maintenance to be Low Maintenance
Inspired by a tik-tok trend, this episode is an ode to the high maintenance things women do to stay "low maintenance" majority of the time. Moms tend to let themselves take the backseat when it comes to indulgent routines (we are not immune to this) but we believe that there are a few rituals that fill our cups just for the fun and beauty of it. We talk about hair removal, food culture, skin care and more.

Rerun Episode: Practicing Gratitude!
This is a rerun of an episode aired in July of 2021. This episode features Consultant Daren Baird and addresses ways to practice gratitude in our daily lives. We felt like this is always a good reminder for all of us and a great topic to revisit at this time. We hope you will join us again next week!
Loving Your Home Now with Foundation Goods
This is for sure a favorite conversation we have had on the podcast! Not only did Caitlin and Bethany come full of tips to better design and decorate my home, but they also had the most encouraging message about loving and embracing my home just the way it is and creating the environment I want through small and approachable changes. Caitlin Creer and Bethany Christensen are cofounders of Foundation Goods, a beautiful home goods store and interior design firm. They design some of the most high-end, beautiful, "dream" homes on the market but came prepared to share the message that you shouldn't wait to love your home. We know you will love this highly refreshing conversation and leave feeling empowered to be the designer of your own home.

What Would You Pass Down to Your Children?
This episode was inspired by an instagram post we found from Corrine Stokoe (linked below). She found an article of heirloom pieces you may want to gift your daughters and it sparked the idea of truly timeless pieces to pass down to your children: values and lessons you want them to always keep in their hearts. In this episode we discuss a few things that we want to gift our children and encourage you to take time to make a small list for your own home!
