It’s all about our family vacation, the Barbie movie hype, Oppenheimer and Ryan Bingham.
Hollywood has been turned upside down this past week! And we recorded this episode just days before the strike was called. So we talk about the Barbie movie, Oppenheimer and more. But please know that we are in full support of the SAG-Aftra and WGA strikes! Heather is a member of SAG and strongly supports her unions's decision to strike.

There's a lot going on in the entertainment biz right now and we managed to squeeze it all into a short show! The WGA has been on strike for over 2 months and now SAG AFTRA performers will be joining them. We're talking about why they are striking and what this means for you.
Chris and Heather joined Disney+ for a special screening of Indiana Jones. They liked it!
The whole fam saw Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning thanks to our friends at IMAX. This was Chan's first Mission Impossible experience and she really enjoyed it! Now she wants to see all the other films.

It's all about The Flash failing at the box office, Elemental, visiting Tulsa, and Jimmy Eat World!
All the hype didn't pay off at the box office for The Flash. It's not doing as well as WB hoped so we're talking about why that could be. Pixar's Elemental is in the same boat. Reviews for that one are pretty bad but Channing still really wants to see it.
We visited Tulsa during a Tornado and lived to tell our story.

It's all about The Flash, a DCU Reboot, Star Trek: Strange New Worlds and boygenius!
We're going to Tulsa! So we had to squeeze in our thoughts on The Flash before we go visit family in Oklahoma. And our thoughts on The Flash are well...divided. There's a lot of controversy surrounding this film and we talk about why some people are boycotting because of Ezra Miller, and why some fans are choosing to look past the controversy and see it anyway.

It’s all about Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, The Little Mermaid, Smartless and the Foo Fighters!
No spoilers! We saw an early screening of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse with directors Lord and Miller and it was the best movie we've seen so far this year. That is not something the BFP gang says lightly. We don't give anything away that you don't already know from the trailer and other reviews, but we do talk about the incredible animation, the heartfelt story, and the music. It hits theaters June 2.
We also recap the Succession finale and like many of you, were glad to see Tom at the helm of Waystar/GoJo.
And we're giving you an HONEST review of The Little Mermaid (Halle Bailey, Melissa McCarthy) and whether you should spend your money on this remake, or wait until it hits Disney+ in a few weeks. (Hint: Just wait!)
And Chris recommends everyone check out the new Foo Fighters single “Show Me How” from their new album, But Here We Are. The single, which incorporates dream-pop and shoegaze elements is the first album since the untimely passing of drummer Taylor Hawkins.
