Episode 1: An Olympic & Paralympic Year
Welcome to the School Games Podcast!
Our first podcast looks back at the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games legacy project, which aimed to promote physical activity and sports among young people, especially disengaged students. Guest hosts Regan and Connor share their experiences as former and current School Games Organisers in Stevenage, offering advice on implementing such a project. Host Kelly Gates also takes us through some key updates, including the launch of 'Path to Paris', updated coaching circle pilots, a reminder of the dates for both the Impact Awards ceremony evening and the National Summit, and the availability of MATP training in a virtual format.
