In this week's episode, we take a look at district soccer and football around the NPSL. Kentridge girls soccer advances to the state playoffs for the first time since 2018 in a huge 6-0 win over Rogers. Decatur football's historic season comes to a close in a 13-6 loss to Woodinville at home. Auburn falls to Lincoln at the Lincoln Bowl, ending the Trojans' 2023 campaign. Auburn Riverside football wins against Juanita 28-9 and is going to state for the first time in school history.

As we inch closer to the end of the fall season, every game, meet and match grow in intensity. The Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatic Center hosted the All-City meet between all four Federal Way schools. We talked to one swimmer from each school in Federal Way and got their own unique perspective on the meet. We then traveled to the brand-new Federal Way Memorial Field where Todd Beamer hosted Thomas Jefferson in girls' soccer. Todd Beamer then hosted Auburn High School on the gridiron in a crucial 3A NPSL matchup that went the way of the Trojans, who remain undefeated in league play. And finally, we cap off this episode with Hazen ending a 10-game, 20-year losing streak to Liberty on the road.

In this episode we look at the Kentwood vs. Kentridge soccer rivalry, which resulted in a draw. We look inside at Renton High School volleyball program and see how their coach looks at the season after a 3-1 loss to Tyee. Federal Way High School football gets back on track with a big win over Mount Rainier, and Auburn Mountainview survives against Todd Beamer on the gridiron.

In this episode of Around the Sound Sports, lots of tightly contested teams went at it from the Week of Oct. 2-6. Lindbergh High School girls soccer took down Renton 2-0. Thomas Jefferson boys tennis took down Auburn Riverside to potentially split the 2023 league championship. But Raven freshman Jeremy Yang won his match to remain undefeated this season. Auburn Riverside volleyball remains unbeaten in league with a straight set victory over Kentlake. The final leg of this Auburn Riverside heavy episode looks at Raven football, who won big over Todd Beamer 54-14.
