God has a purpose for us in every chapter of our lives. Revealing it to us often means flipping our assumptions on how life will go. We might assume we'll finish high school, go right to a 4-year college, and then get the job. Scott Cooper says God had a different path for him. It was a path that grew his life experience, resilience, and revealed his passion. We may assume we'll walk the usual life path of learn, earn, and retire. The biggest lessons in our lives often need to be learned and relearned. God gives us many opportunities throughout life's various chapters, allowing us to trust Him more and experience renewed freedom. For Nancy and Kathy, those life lessons mirror each other. Nancy needed to care less about other's opinions and find her identity in God. Conversely, Kathy needed to care more about others, so she set off on a life long quest to grown in love and generosity.
